This page is a well-organized listing and description of resources for parents and educators of talented and gifted children. For those new to the field, there are descriptions of 'giftedness' and some of the ways it can be measured. The nice thing about this site is that the author directs you to the specific pages for giftedness that can be found on the larger educational sites. For example, some of the links are to ERIC Gifted Highlights, schools with gifted and talented education programs, talent searches and summer programs, distance learning programs, and early entrance programs. For the students, there are links to pen pal mailing lists, as well as to organizations for gifted students. Most of the resources described here are going to interest the parents more than the students themselves.
